Wallacedene Sports Board is a structure responsible for recruiting and scouting new talent and assists those who participate in those particular sporting code to access formal training and playing facilities. Amongst the sporting codes affiliated on this sports board is, OLFA.(Oostenberg local football association) and Wallacedene net ball team.
Under the Oosternberg Local Football Association, Wallacedene have alone 24 soccer teams registered under SAFA and playing in promotion league.
Key focus of the Wallacedene Sports Board is to bring the World cup to the communities’ youth and had therefore already embarked on a plan to develop Fun parks in these communities during this festive period.
At the present moment, the sports board is currently inviting everyone with new talent and ideas that can help grow the sporting activities in our community. They are looking for anyone interested in Boxing, Rugby, Cricket and Basket ball, It may be a trainer or an informal organized group.
